At Tranquility Hill our motto—“We Aim to Please”—is not just a slogan but our commitment to quality service and our desire to provide an experience that exceeds your expectations. We are family owned and operated and proud of our long tradition of welcoming anglers from all over the world.
Tranquility Hill can comfortably accommodate 20 guests for any length of stay. We have five spacious, newly refurbished, deluxe double rooms with private bath, air conditioning, refrigerator, Wi-Fi and Internet services, and complimentary Laundry Services.
We also have a newly constructed Cottage accommodation for families and/or friends, with an air of privacy and seclusion. Guests will be able to prepare their own meals in the kitchenette and plan their activities at their leisure.
At the end of each day of fishing the social life at the Lodge centers around the bar. Anglers and guides gather to enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres, tell stories about their day, follow the news or sports on satellite TV, or just watch the sun set over the North Bight. The bar operates on a self-serve honor system and is well stocked with a variety of brand-name liquors and Bahamian Kalik beer.
Breakfast and dinner are served family-style in the Lodge dining room. Dinner is one of the highlights of the day. Chef Kora Taylor (one of Ivan Neymour’s daughters) prepares a variety of authentic Bahamian meals, including locally caught seafood (Lobster, Cracked Conch, Grouper, Snapper and Mahi-Mahi), Barbecued Chicken and Ribs, and Steaks accompanied by Bahamian specialties such as homemade Johnny Cake and Conch Chowder.
